LASSSAI GRANTS HIGHER SUPERVISORY LEVEL TO LA SALETTE SCHOOL PDF Print E-mail

The Lasallian Schools Supervision Services Association, Inc. (LASSSAI) of the De La Salle Philippines granted a Supervised Level 1 status to Escuela de Nuestra Señora de La Salette in Tapuac, Dagupan City.  La Salette’s previous status given by La Salle was De La Salle Supervised-Probationary.  The granting of a higher status is another laurel of achievement for La Salette School.

A team of assessors from different Lasallian institutions visited La Salette School last February 4-5, 2008 to evaluate the degree of achievement relative to La Salette School’s mission of academic excellence.  This is the third time that La Salette School has been visited by Lasallian educational experts to evaluate the school.

The assessment team was headed by Br. Kenneth Martinez FSC, the Brother President of De La Salle Canlubang in Laguna.  With Br. Kenneth are the following: Dr. Herminia Torres, the current LASSO Superintendent and former Executive Vice President if De La Salle University-Dasmariñas; Mrs. Presentacion Gabriel, former Executive Vice President of De La Salle – College of Saint Benilde; and, Mrs. Agnes Alonsazana, a Supervisor from La Salle Green Hills.

The news of LASSSAI's granting of Supervised Level I level to La Salette School brought forth jubilation and excitement for the Academic Year 2008-2009.  According to La Salette Executive Vice President Mrs. Marianne T. Lor, “This recognition bestowed upon La Salette School is a proof of our commitment to give the best education in Dagupan City.  Truly, our commitment and our efforts paid off!”
