THE LA SALETTIAN PHILOSOPHY


The Escuela de Nuestra Señora de La Salette (ENSLAS), De La Salle Assisted School, regards the individual as a gift from God who seeks guidance in the gradual unfolding of his potentials as a person. His formation is facilitated through the active collaboration of the school with the academic community and with the assistance of the Lasallian School Supervision Office.

The school looks forward that the students become future Christian leaders and achievers in the society who are God-fearing and concerned citizens laden with Christian and Lasallian values especially Faith, Virtue and Wisdom.

With the blessings of the school patroness, Our Lady of La Salette and St. John Baptist de La Salle, Founder of the Institute of the Brothers of the Christian Schools and the of the living exemplar of Jesus Christ, the school commits itself in the service to the poor and in developing the self to the fullest by serving others with Christian love in an excellent way.

OBJECTIVES


1. Promote quality education, nurtured by a Christian environment, strengthened by Faith, Virtue, and Wisdom, which is accessible to all.

2. Produce Christian leaders and achievers among her students who are sensitive to their social responsibilities and are committed to service and to participate meaningfully in the improvement of the quality of life of the community.

3. Foster an atmosphere of growth and learning among her students by exposing them to various activities locally and nationally which will enhance their academic, social, spiritual and physical growth and development.

4. Provide a non-threatening and values oriented environment, which will serve as a venue for producing students with deep reverence and commitment towards becoming self-disciplined and knowledgeable youths.

5. Develop students laden with Lasallian values and with the spirit of nationalism.
